What NeuroLog does
NeuroLog helps people record day-to-day experiences, preserve a treatment or diagnostic journey, review patterns and share selected information with authorised clinicians. It is a record-keeping and communication-support tool.
NeuroLog does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment or replace a clinician’s judgement. Information displayed by the service should be discussed with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details private and notify the organisation responsible for your account if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the issue was caused by NeuroLog or its providers.
Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Access may be limited, suspended or removed by the organisation that manages the account or where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or the law.
Your entries and clinician access
You remain responsible for the information you choose to enter. Do not upload information about another person unless you are authorised and have a lawful reason to do so.
Where the service offers patient-controlled clinician access, you can approve, reject or revoke access using the available controls. Revoking access prevents future access through NeuroLog but cannot make an authorised recipient forget or destroy information already lawfully exported, printed or added to a separate clinical record.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse NeuroLog, attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe or disrupt its security, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, scrape data, or use the service in a way that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.
Clinicians and administrators must only access information needed for their authorised professional role and must follow their organisation’s confidentiality, security and record-keeping requirements.
Availability and changes
Reasonable care is taken to keep NeuroLog available and accurate, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, faults, security work or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily affect the service.
Features may be improved, replaced or withdrawn as the platform develops. Material changes that significantly affect use of the service will be communicated where reasonably possible.
Intellectual property
You retain any rights you have in the personal content you enter. You give the service and the organisation managing your account the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up and export that content for the purposes of providing NeuroLog.
The NeuroLog software, design, branding and supporting materials belong to Strange Duck Labs or its licensors and may not be copied, reverse engineered or redistributed except where the law expressly permits it.
Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, NeuroLog is provided as a support tool and should not be treated as the sole record for urgent, safety-critical or clinical decisions. Users and clinicians remain responsible for professional decisions, emergency action and maintaining any records their organisation is legally required to keep.
Ending use and governing law
You may stop using NeuroLog at any time and may ask the organisation responsible for your account about closure or export options. Some information may need to be retained for legal, clinical, security or backup reasons.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts that have jurisdiction will depend on the rights that apply to you as a consumer and where you live.
